Sort of agree GEC. I don't like the WWE/UFC style of 'gameshow' they have chosen, if they are going to do a multiplayer element based off a gameshow, why not use one of the quirky Japanese styles of gameshow?

I would understand the complaints if they gave the game a 3 or a 4, but you guys are whining over an 8. Jesus, what a bunch of egotistical children you lot are. You're still going to buy the game, as am I, who cares if someone doesn't give it a perfect score. They have more right to rate it is as did, given the fact you haven't even played the F'n game yet.
It would have to be substantially improved (which by the sounds of it, it isn't), for me to consider buying it on the PS3. I hired it on 360, but it wasn't my cup of tea, especially because of the horrendous camera controls.
I guess If you're keen for some mindless action, give it a go, just don't expect anything else from the game in terms of story elements.
I think I might have to get this game, never played the original, what better way to play it than on the PSP.
I'm really enjoying it so far. I thought Halo 3's story was pretty terrible, it was such a clumsy mess of threads that didn't quite intertwine. ODST on the other hand is great, I love the juxtaposition between the hub and the flashbacks.
P.S if you're an Aussie, BigW have ODST for $68.

Thank you for actually commenting. I agree, Uncharted 2 is getting some amazing reviews and will undoubtably be another fantastic game from Naughty Dog, yet I still stand by my comment. I think it is premature to claim GOTY status (what that actually means anyway) when not every game has been released yet. I also stand by my comment in relation to what we perceive as GOTY being a unique and individual preference.

Fantastic comment, and one that I wholeheartedly agree with. Why is there so much hate for the 'competing' systems? Ummm am I missing something, neither UC2 nor GT5 have been playable in their entirety, aren't you being a little premature? By the way, I'm looking forward to Uncharted 2 probably more than any other game this year, but I'll actually wait to play it before I make such a claim.

God of War 3 and GT5 in one month...mmm hopefully there won't be any cannibalisation of sales. Even though the two games are polar opposites, not everyone has enough disposable income for two games so close together.
